MedInUnity
For a medicine that cares for everyone — and includes us all

Health affects all of us — yet not everyone is treated equally within the healthcare system. Women*, queer people and disabled people frequently encounter misdiagnosis, inadequate treatment options and structural barriers in medical care. Research still centres primarily on male, white, non-disabled bodies, while the specific needs of women*, Black people, People of Colour (PoC), disabled people and people with chronic illnesses, and trans* or non-binary people are neglected.
We at MedInUnity are an interdisciplinary team of five. Together we work towards a medicine that is fairer, more diverse and more attentive. We bring together our knowledge from research, practice and activism to drive change and build healthcare that takes everyone into account.
